Mahsa Ghaderpour, Kyokushin Karate Champion, Embarks on a New Chapter in the United States

Mahsa Ghaderpour, a distinguished Kyokushin Karate champion and 4th Dan black belt holder, has stepped into a dynamic new phase of her career in the United States, continuing to break boundaries and inspire future generations of martial artists.

Previously celebrated for achieving 10 consecutive full-contact fights without rest in the 55kg weight class—a record that made her the first Iranian woman to accomplish such a feat in Kyokushin history—Ghaderpour is now actively contributing to the martial arts community in the U.S. as both an international referee and instructor.

With years of elite experience in national and international competitions, Ghaderpour now trains and mentors a new generation of athletes in the U.S., sharing not only technical skills but also the core values of Kyokushin. She believes karate is more than a sport; it’s a powerful tool for building self-confidence, discipline, and strategic thinking.

In the United States, Ghaderpour aims to elevate technical standards while fostering a positive, values-driven environment within the martial arts community. Through hosting seminars, workshops, and educational programs, she promotes karate as a path to physical and mental growth.

Her presence in the U.S. has also created a cultural bridge between East and West. By introducing the philosophy and moral principles of Kyokushin to American audiences, Ghaderpour offers a deeper understanding of this traditional Japanese martial art. Through meaningful engagement with international athletes and coaches, she has drawn attention to the talent and potential of Iranian women in combat sports, playing a vital role in reshaping perceptions of female participation in martial arts.
